In 2014 I helped to plan and organise my daughter’s wedding. After the wedding my daughter decided to sell her wedding dress and it was really at that point she suggested purchasing a few wedding dresses to resell as a trial just to see how it would go. So that is what I did! It went so well and I enjoyed it so much I decided to change my vocation from a medical secretary to a bridal boutique owner.
On the 31st May 2014 I created my first ever Facebook page and so began Tracy Charlemagne’s Wedding Boutique.
I gradually increased the amount of wedding dresses I had in the boutique and began preparing for brides to view the dresses. Of course I quickly realised that it was necessary to offer more than just wedding dresses. I now offer the fabulous Twist and Wrap bridesmaid dresses and beautiful flower girl dresses as well as my range of beautiful bespoke hand customised luxury wedding veils. I constantly had in mind to expand to a designer range of dresses the moment I was able.
This idea began with my daughter in law who at that time customised shoes. I had the idea to just play around with a veil and to see what could be made and so began my luxury wedding veils. I love this side of my business as I can interact with you, my bride and find out what sort of veil you would like. I love making your veils unique to you, with your personality and creativity imprinted on this one of a kind wedding veil. I customise these veils with crystal gems that beautifully reflect the light and as it sparkles it will bring out the adornments on your wedding dress perfectly.
In June 2017 I was given the privilege of an article being written in the Suffolk East Anglian Daily Times featuring the new range of wedding veils that I now offer.
After a while of customising veils I could see some gorgeous possibilities. The idea behind the memorial veil range began with a my bride Maria. Maria wanted a memory of her dad to be with her on her special day. At her consultation I suggested we have her dad’s initials in crystal gems in the centre of her 3 metre cathedral lace edged wedding veil. She loved the idea and also wanted the veil to be adorned with crystals all the way around the edges on the veil. So began the memorial wedding veil range. These wedding veils are a true labour of love and take hours and hours to create giving incredible results
It was a real privilege to help Maria to have a beautiful memorial to her dad on her special day. I would love to work with you too to create a loving memorial to your loved one for your special day.
So, if you have lost a loved one, and would like something to remind you of that special person, please contact me for your free wedding veil consultation and lets see how we can work together make this dream a reality.
Having a wedding boutique has its surprises. I never intended to go down the line of catwalks and shows. Embracing this opportunity, I have had the pleasure of working with professional models as well as amateur models including members of my own family.
My four-year-old granddaughter Sophyah is a natural model and I am sure I will be using her much more to showcase my stunning flower girl dresses.
With help and support of some friends and colleagues I have arranged and organised Catwalk Shows giving more opportunities for you to see my stunning range of wedding dresses. This has been a fabulous experience for me to interact within the industry. Working with both models as well as fabulous wedding venues has expanded my skills to help you.
As you have seen my business started small and is always growing and evolving because of your requirements. I am listening to what my bride’s want and trying to incorporate your thoughts and ideas into my business. This is to give you the best possible experience and service.
I now have around 80 wedding dresses in the boutique and I am excited to now be able to include my new Designer Kittychen Couture. Her dresses are luxurious, exquisite and simply stunning! A must see for all brides to be.
